We are Wayne & Janine, and we are selling our beautiful home and would like to tell you our story of why we love this home so much, and why it is time for us to move on, so you can be the next to love it.We chose to live in Kirwee because it is a small country village with a friendly community but is only 30 minutes from the centre of Christchurch, also because the size and quality of this home with all its extras can cost a lot more elsewhere. We have added a few things - a large WIFI controlled heat pump, a DVS system, water filtration units and an arched patio roof (which is great!), we also gave the house a tidy up with new curtains & blinds to all windows and doors, a new dishwasher, a paint job and a few other bits & pieces. We love an easy care but pretty to look at garden so over the two years this has evolved nicely, we installed irrigation and also had four large, raised veggie gardens put in so if you like to ‘grow your own’ you can (one of them is FULL of strawberries), there is also a large garden shed and wood shed that holds enough wood to last two winters to feed the Woodsman log burner. Come inside our home - you will be impressed by its bright open space filled with morning sun and the overall size. Our main living area is quite large, very comfortable and welcoming, and if you love to cook for the family or entertain you are blessed with an amazing kitchen that has a huge butler’s pantry, easy access soft-close wide drawers, two (yes two!) individual ovens, large breakfast bar area and plumbed space for a double ice-maker fridge. The large separate lounge room, or media room as we call it, is perfect for movie or sports nights with our 75” wall-mounted TV (not included but talk to us). The main bedroom, with big sliding door to the garden, easily holds our king bed with plenty of room for our large dresser and bedside drawers and of course as expected in a house these days we have a generous sized ensuite with fully tiled double (his & her’s) shower, partnered with a walk-in-wardrobe that will hold all those shoes and more, it also has a full-length mirror. The other three bedrooms are all generous size, and share the main bathroom, again with a fully tiled shower and a bath worth soaking in. We love the peace and quiet of Kirwee, the privacy, practicality and comfort of our home. We will miss it dearly, but family are in need of our help so we must be there for them.
